With its optical compression, adaptive attack technology, and its parallel and sideband compression possibilities, the Gorila will allow you to fine tune your bass sound to perfection. Be it on stage, in the studio, with an amplifier or direct to the PA, the Gorila is all you need.
Blend control for parallel and sideband compression
Sidechain carefully crafted for bass guitar frequencies

Balanced Tilt Eq
9 Volt D.C. (Battery Not Included)
EQ: Balanced Tilt Eq, allows you to balance the tone towards bass or treble. With the knob at center, the eq is flat. The equalization is applied to the already compressed signal.
GAIN: Gain recovery of the compressed signal, allows to set the appropriate output level.
COMP: Controls the compressor threshold: the signal level from which the compressor starts to act.
BLEND: Level of the original clean signal, which is summed in parallel to the compressed and equalized signal. This can be used to simply soften the compression by effectively reducing the ratio, to restore transients unaffected by the compressor, or combined with the Tilt Eq to achieve selective compression of bass or treble frequencies.
ATTACK: attack time of the signal detector. Controls the reaction time of the compressor. A slower attack time lets more of the transient (the initial peak of each note) pass thru. With Adaptive Attack, the attack time is, in fact, variable and adapts to the signal dynamics: fast or sudden changes in the sound are compressed with a faster attack time, achieving an effective but much more transparent compression.
TRUE BYPASS: Turns on/off the effect. The true bypass switch allows your sound to remain intact when the effect is off.
COMPRESSION LED: Indicates the gain reduction applied by the compressor.
