BLEND: Level of the original clean signal, which is added in parallel to the compressed signal. According to the level of compressed vs clean signal, it can be used to soften the effect by reducing the ratio, to restore dynamics lost when using high values of compression, and to increase the sustain without affecting the attack of the instrument.
GAIN: Gain recovery of the compressed signal, allows to set the appropriate output level.
COMP: Controls the compressor threshold: the signal level from which the compressor starts to act.
DYNAMIC EQ: Sets the frequencies which will be reduced by the compressor action. At min, the total range of frequencies is affected, as in a normal compressor. At max, only the higher frequencies are reduced, keeping intact the low and middle spectrum. This allows to soften overly bright transients without affecting the rest of the sound, and together with a slow attack time, to enhance the dynamics while rounding up the sound.
ATTACK: attack time of the signal detector. Controls the reaction time of the compressor. A slower attack time lets more of the transient (the initial peak of each note) pass thru, while faster attack makes sure no annoying peaks are left in the sound.
TRUE BYPASS: Turns on/off the effect. The true bypass switch keeps your sound intact when the effect is off.
COMPRESSION LED: Indicates the gain reduction applied by the compressor. This LED lights up when 8dB of compression has been achieved.
